This is the first oil tank gauge
that is ideal for the workplace.
The Oil Watchman is a revolutionary oil tank gauge which monitors
the level of heating oil in your oil tank - and all from the comfort
of the office!
Plug the Oil Watchman into an electrical
socket and from the Watchman's easy to read window display, you
can read the level of oil in your tank. This is 'convenience at
a glance' - no need to go outside to read levels on freezing winter
days.
The Oil Watchman is activated by a
radio signal from a probe fitted on your oil tank (no wiring is
required). Once activated, the level of oil in your oil tank can
be read on the Oil Watchman indoors, from F when full, through
9, 8, 7,...down to 0 when nearly empty. When the level is
low, a red warning light flashes to warn you to order more oil in
good time.

The Oil Signalman
is a small BABT approved device simply plugged into an oil consumer's
direct dial telephone point along with the existing telephone or fax
equipment. During calls made to a Tank Signal System PC at an Oil
Company, the Oil Signalman is directed to collect the radio transmissions
made by a tank transmitter fitted, together with a probe, to the consumer's
oil storage tank.
The tank transmitter and probe are
the same as employed by the Oil Watchman
which are designed for easy installation onto any of the Titan
Tanks range of oil tanks. The radio transmissions contain
various information including the current level of oil in the tank.
The information collected is sorted by the Tank Signal System software
and presented to the operator in a variety of screen enquiry functions
and printed reports suited to specific applications.
When the Oil Company have sight of
the consumer's ongoing stock levels, this delivers numerous significant
benefits to the Oil Company and Customer alike. The Tank Signal
System provides the ability to greatly improve Customer Service
whilst at the same time achieving a dramatic improvement in Delivery
Routing Efficiency.
The Oil Signalman is used in conjunction
with the Tank Signal System allowing the Oil Consumer to have their
tank monitored remotely so avoiding the need to check their tank
and order oil.
The calls made by the Oil Signalman
normally only last for 20 seconds or so at a time. They can be set
to occur in the early hours or within another selected time range
so as not to interfere with normal use of the line. The Oil Signalman
will not try to make a call when you are already using your line.
Location
The Oil Signalman can be installed anywhere convenient close to
a telephone socket. The unit should also be as close as possible
to its oil tank, as it needs to be in range of the radio signals
sent by the transmitter fitted on the tank - in normal circumstances
this is within 100 metres
