Will
my old Paraffin heater work on ROLF Liquid Fuel?
YES it will run well with no modification required, however, to get the maximum benefits of ROLF, we recommend you drain the fuel reservoir completely, clean all parts and add a new wick, leaving the wick to soak before lighting.
Can I mix ROLF Liquid Fuel and Paraffin?
YES but it will degrade the quality of the ROLF fuel and even a trace of paraffin will transfer the traditional odour.
Is ROLF Liquid Fuel safer to use?
YES, ROLF fuel has a higher flash point -minimum 61°C (the temperature at which it will burn if an ignition source is applied) than traditional Paraffin -typically 45°C. As is the case with any fuel we recommend caution in use.
Can I use ROLF inside the home?
YES, the low odour and high flashpoint characteristics of ROLF fuel make it ideal for use indoors, especially in conjunction with ROLF heaters.
Is ROLF Liquid Fuel suitable for use in Greenhouse Paraffin heaters?
YES, in fact ROLF fuel should be your first choice of fuel in the greenhouse, ROLF fuel has improved burning characteristics, an Ultra Low Sulphur content which ensures low acidity, virtually no odour and eliminates sulphurous oxide emissions, therefore plant growth and crop yields will be higher.
Can I use ROLF Liquid Fuel in Paraffin/Oil Lamps and stoves?
YES, the burning characteristics ensure that Rolf can be used in lamps with the extra benefit of having no paraffin smell especially noticeable when the flame is extinguished.
Where can I find out more about the range of ROLF heaters?
Phone SCOTT BROS. (DISTRIBUTORS) LTD on 01606 837787, they have a network of stockists nationwide.
Why should I buy the more expensive ROLF Liquid Fuel instead of Paraffin?
For some or all the reasons above, ROLF has been specially developed to be user friendly and sympathetic
to the environment, the Ultra Low Sulphur content, High Flashpoint, Lack of Odour and improved burning characteristics are all real benefits compared to traditional
Paraffin.
